About me
I am a proud native of Carteret County, North Carolina. After spending seven years living in Virginia, I returned to my roots. I've been happily married for 40 years‚ to the same wonderful man‚ and am a proud mother of two and grandmother ("Nana") to two. My career in education began in 1998 as a Teacher Assistant. I later advanced into roles such as Data Manager and Secretary/Bookkeeper/Data Manager. In 2005, I was promoted to Student Information Systems (SIS) Coordinator, a position I continue to hold. Before my career in education, I worked as a Medical Assistant for 12 years.
